Frequently Asked
Questions

These are some of the most frequently asked questions at our ABG Collision Centers:

Q: How many estimates should I get on my damaged vehicle?

A: Insurers often ask for more than one appraisal. This is how they keep cost competitive. Unfortunately, they will usually choose the least expensive appraisal. Remember, the cheapest estimate will result in the cheapest repairs. At ABG, we work closely with you to ensure the highest quality repairs at the most competitive pricing.

Q: If I don't feel the accident was my fault, can I contact the other party's insurance company?

A: Absolutely! ABG works hard to assist you in processing your claim through the other party's carrier. If the other party is to blame, you may not have to be concerned with even paying a deductible, let alone any rental car costs or premium increases.

Q: Are all collision repair facilities and their techicians licensed?

A: No. And this is unfortunate and dangerous. So it's inportant for you to make an informed decision when choosing a repair facility. Look for facility/technician certifications such as ASE and I-Car to ensure high quality work.

Q: Is there really any difference in workmanship from one repair facility to another?

A: Yes, there is. And it's a major difference. At ABG, we guarantee your completed repair will have your vehicle returned to factory specifications. We use only the highest-quality materials, parts, and technical expertise to restore your vehicle to its previous condition. We also work closely with all companies to ensure that all necessary repair procedures are properly completed on your vehicle before you again get behind the wheel.

Important Facts:

No law requires you to get more than one estimate.

You are not obligated to use any particular shop to obtain repairs. You choose the shop and authorize the repairs.

You do not have to accept the Insurance Company's appraisal of the damage. See the "Appraisal Clause" in your policy to resolve differences.

You are responsible for the cost of the repairs. Financial arrangements must be completed before the vehicle can be released.

• Our people are professionally trained craftsmen who will do a quality job of restoring your vehicle at a fair price.
